gooWee Ribbon Cutting!

On May 8th, our friends at the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for gooWee! We were joined by our friends and family, and celebrated the occasion with a pint at Odd 13, a local Lafayette brewery.

Running gooWee has been quite an adventure since we started the company in 2016. We have had the challenges of both running a business and learning to become better developers at the same time. Although we have had ups and downs, we have learned many great lessons and have grown along the way.

2018 has been a pivotal year for us in that we have taken those lessons and have solidified our workflows and tech stack. As a result, 2018 has been a very successful and busy year for gooWee. In the last few weeks we have launched four websites (Kabblah Experience, Rigid Bits, A Helping Hand, and Christo Cuisine) and we are on the verge of launching the website for Longmont Startup Week, a site that we built for the Longmont Economic Development Partnership, with the help of students from St. Vrain Valley School District’s Innovation Center. Since December, we have been working on our fifth app, a legal app that is now in beta testing. We have started two tech Meetups including the Boulder React Meetup and the React coding night in partnership with Women Who Code and the Bootcampers collective.

A big thank you to our clients and our local community for helping in our success along the way!
